Enodis plc announced today the establishment of Merrychef USA to support the marketing and sale of Merrychef accelerated cooking ovens into the United States. Merrychef USA has headquarters in New Port Richey, FL.
Merrychef is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of accelerated cooking systems worldwide. Merrychef products currently are used extensively in a wide variety of quick service, casual dining, fine dining, lodging, non-commercial, convenience store and retail store operations. Operators rely on Merrychef accelerated cooking ovens where speed of service, consistent food quality, menu expansion, waste reduction and space optimization are key operational considerations.
“The addition of Merrychef accelerated cooking ovens to our U.S. portfolio of products demonstrates our commitment to helping foodservice operators worldwide achieve superior results through solutions powered by Enodis innovation,” said David McCulloch, Chief Executive Officer of Enodis plc, in making the announcement.
Added Kevin Fink, President, Enodis USA, “This further expands the variety of integrated, multi-brand solutions available from Enodis, supported by our aligned sales representatives and US dealers, and backed by our Enodis STAR service network.”
A pioneer in the field of accelerated cooking, Merrychef utilizes combinations of convection hot air, microwave, rapid heat impingement and infra red energy in its various accelerated cooking ovens. The combination of technologies produces results that are five to 10 times faster than results using standard cooking processes.
Merrychef offers a broad array of support to help operators assess accelerated cooking benefits, develop menu concepts, test and document cooking procedures, and implement operational processes.
