Merrychef Appoints New Supply Chain Manager

MERRYCHEF has appointed Silke Kessel in the newly created role of Supply Chain Manager, based at the company’s UK headquarters in Ash Vale, Hampshire.

Reporting to Operations Director, Rob Gale, Silke will focus on supplier audits within Merrychef’s global supply chain; seeking quality improvements in outsourced components, material and services and adding new suppliers, as required, to meet Merrychef’s ever-widening product range of Accelerated Cooking Technology™.

Talking about this new role, Rob Gale said: “As Merrychef’s global business continues to grow at a fast pace, we’ve introduced this pivotal new role to ensure control of the worldwide supply chain to the same high standards we currently operate.”

A German national, Silke has worked in supply chain management in the UK for nine years.  Her language skills include German, Italian and French which will prove a huge asset to Merrychef’s global operations team.
